First Lady Michelle Obama To Appear On iCarly Next Season

iCarly

iCarly has seen their share of weird and fun characters, along with guest stars that match. Which means Nickelodeon is working hard to get the next season lined up for upcoming new season. And it seems that they have found one that will spread a good message and still make the show entertaining.

THR.com is reporting that First Lady Michelle Obama will be guest starring on an upcoming episode that is currently slated for a January premier. Mrs. Obama will be promoting her pet project, Joining Forces initiative on the episode. It is also reported that the episode was written just for the First Lady’s mission.

I find it strange that Mrs. Obama wants to take that message to kids. I was under the impression that she wanted to send this message to parents instead? I do suppose that iCarly can be considered a family show, so that would help take care of that part of her goal. I do wonder why Nickelodeon would want to have someone appear on their show that may not appeal to the fan base? It just makes me feel like that Nickelodeon is moving away from the old fashioned all about kids marathon. They haven’t provide that luxury for kids in close to 12 years or more. I think that sadly Nickelodeon is not like what we knew at all. I hope that they will provide some fan base approved guest stars for this upcoming season.

I think it is a great idea for America’s First Lady to support Nick. It is a win/win situation. She is very popular and they can be an outlet for exercise and good food to help her mission. I hear she served some veggies from her garden to Angela Merkel when she was at the White House State dinner. President Obama presented Ms. Merkel with a medal of freedom.

Well, one more show I will have to ban my daughter from watching. Mrs. Obama is an out of touch elitist who is trying to push through her liberal agenda wherever she can. Sure, childhood obesity might be a problem, but there are a lot more serious issues in our country. What about children who are without food or those who are abused?

I don’t see her husband giving up his love for chili dogs and hamburgers, but that’s right…they are above the law. They only want the rules to apply to others so they can have more control.

Why would you have the president’s wife on the show if the president hasn’t even done anything for the US beside make gas sky rocket which makes it harder for people to get around
