Disney Pixar Release Movie Poster For Upcoming Film “Brave”

If you like Disney Pixar films, you will like the “Brave”. There is a preview of the film, “Brave” that starts previewing this weekend. It will open in June of 2012.

“Brave” is set in the hidden Scottish highlands, where Merida is a princess of a kingdom. She is a disorderly daughter but is a skilled archer. One day Merida rebels against a sacred custom of the land and brings disorder to the kingdom. Merida in trying to remedy the problem, she finds an eccentric old woman and is granted an ill-fated wish.

Stories about mythical places and people are interesting. There is the legend of King Arthur and his round table. Stories are told of King Arthur’s birth, his deeds, and those deeds of his knights. These stories also tell of the quest for the Holy Grail, the destruction of Arthur’s kingdom and his death. Then there are the stories of Homer in the Illiad and the Odyssey. The Illiad is the story of the last year of the Trojan War and the Odyssey is about the journey home of Odysseus. Then there are the various mythologies of the Norse and the Germanic tribes. I think all the stories about mythical places and people come from a small grain of real memory.
