Selena Gomez Hosting 2011 Much Music Video Awards

The gang putting together the 2011 Much Music Video Awards in Toronto, Canada knows how to put on an awesome show, according to the latest from Cambio, as TV star/movie star/Justin Bieber’s girlfriend, Selena Gomez steps up to handle co-hosting duties at the MMVA’s on Sunday, June 19th.

According to Sheila Sullivan, the producer of the awards, “Selena Gomez is a bona fide star. Her films and TV show are seen around the world and her songs are topping the charts.”

There’s no word yet on if Selena’s boy-toy, the Biebster, will be making an appearance to satisfy fans with Bieber Fever, but little monsters everywhere are in a good mood because Lady Gaga is already scheduled to perform and she’s sure to bring her own sense of style to the show… whether it’s showing up in a plastic egg or wearing an outfit made of raw food.

Selena’s fans won’t have to worry about the Thirteen Reasons Why star being stuck with hosting duties all night though, because she’s also going to be taking to the stage to do some performing of her own.

The 2011 Much Music Video Awards will air live on MuchMusic in Canada and Fuse in the United States at 9 pm ET on Sunday, June 19th.
