Michelle Williams To Play Glinda In Oz Remake
Disney is taking on a remake based on the book and movie Wonderful Wizard of Oz. It is called Oz, The Great and Powerful, which Mila Kunis will be playing as one of the evil witches. Michelle Williams will be Glinda the good witch in the movie. It is slated for a 2013 release.
I wish they would push the date up! I think they have a big hit in the pipe and I am sure Disney is longing for a new big hit. They haven’t had the best sales record for a while now.
Are you excited to see how Disney takes on this film? I am, I sort of hope that they stick to the original pretty closely. Otherwise it might hurt Disney even further, which I am sure they want to avoid that. I wonder who will play in the some of these other important roles in the movie? They better have some big names lined up already.
