Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Name Their Twins

It was perfect timing for Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon as hit R&B/pop songstress gave birth to twins on Saturday April 30th, which also happened to be the couple’s third anniversary.

Mariah who is 41 and husband Nick Cannon 30 were married on April 30 2008, celebrated their third anniversary by welcoming their baby girl first and then the boy was born afterward.  Today Mariah revealed the names of her two twins, Monroe Cannon and Moroccan Scott Cannon.  Daughter Monroe was named after Marilyn Monroe who Carey has called an inspiration.  Son Moroccan’s name comes from the top tier of Carey’s New York Apartment which features Moroccan inspired decor and it was also a spot where Nick proposed.  Singer/actor Nick Cannon was ecstatic over the two new additions to his family and tweeted that his wife had gave him the best anniversary gift that he’ll never be able top.

Cannon drove Carey to the hospital in their Rolls-Royce Phantom, the nervous first dad drove to the wrong department and he had to be guided to the maternity ward by a nurse.  The moment was right out of an “I Love Lucy”.  What do you think of the names Mariah gave her babies?

   I feel for these kids…I hope NICK (aka dad)is VERY ACTIVE with these kids and HE becomes their role model not “MIMI” … can someone please tell her now that she is a mom…she should cover her fake boobs and wear a skirt that covers her azz….
   for the sake of her children!
   can you image seeing her at the pta meetings-everything hanging out, from BOTH ENDS! O M G!!
