The Legend of Zelda Comes to Nintendo 3DS and Wii Play: Motion On The Way

The Nintendo 3DS might be difficult to promote, but that’s not stopping them from rolling out the new games, according to CNET.

The company is dusting off one of their most beloved characters and bringing a “completely remastered” icon to the world of 3D as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D prepares for a June 19th release.

In the new game, which will carry a $39.99 price tag, Link is back to solve puzzles and interact with various characters as he fights to save Princess Zelda. So far, it sounds like the same old stuff, but Ocarina of Time 3D also features a new Master Quest, which has “revamped puzzles and redesigned dungeons” and is completely separate from the main game.

Aside from Nintendo bringing back Link for the 3D environment, a few third-party 3DS titles will also be arriving in stores in June, including Pac-Man, Galaga Dimensions, and Activision’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon Stealth Force Edition 3D.

The 3DS might be the shiny new toy on the block, but Nintendo isn’t going to forget about the Wii, which is still riding high in popularity, so June will also see the new Wii Play: Motion hitting the shelves on the 13th. The bundle includes 12 new motion games and a black Wii Remote Plus controller. The company is still being a little shy about revealing the price, though.

Just like with the 3DS, third-party developers are rolling out a few new Wii titles, and it looks like the Wii is going to be all about Hollywood as the coming months bring us Thor: God of Thunder, Cars 2: The Video Game, and Kung Fu Panda 2.

I really can’t wait for Ocarina of Time 3DS, that one screenshot alone is enough to stir me up, and would you look at that sun flare effect? Only in Zelda will you get a sun set done THAT well, play Twighlight Princess in progressive scan to see what I mean. :)
