Vampire Diaries Kat Graham Says “I Want It All” With New Album

Kat Graham (Bonnie on Vampire Diaries) isn’t letting 2011 go to waste, according to MTV. The witchy woman is currently working on her debut album, which features the new track I Want It All, for the world of pop.

While it might seem like Kat is just one more on the long list of actresses wanting to cross over into the music world, singing has been a passion for a long time. She recently told MTV News, “I’ve been recording since I was 14, but the song really came to manifestation this year. I really found my sound. One of my 2011 resolutions was to do my own music and do my own album. I’ve been working on that, and it’s been going great and it’s, like, 90 percent done.”

I Want It All is part of that completed 90 percent and Kat seems to have a lot of faith in this particular track, “There’s a few songs that we really want. I Want It All was such a big song for us when we recorded it. I recorded it last year, and then [producer] J. R. Rotem came in and did his thing to it, and now seeing this whole thing happen, it’s unreal for me.”

Fans of Vampire Diaries don’t need to worry though, because Kat’s keeping her priorities straight. When asked about the release of her album, she replied, “I want it to be summer, but I’m thinking maybe fall. I want to give enough time to really promote this song. Most people know me from Vampire Diaries, so I have to really focus on that. We’re done [shooting] in April, so once that’s done, I can totally move forward.”
