Selena Gomez Punk’d Disney Style

Selena Gomez might have been a fan of Ashton Kutcher’s Punk’d or maybe some of prankster boyfriend Justin Bieber is rubbing off on her, but the Wizards of Waverly Place star is letting her funny side shine through, according to the latest from Hollywood Life.

While there’s no official word on the project, Selena is apparently shooting an “alternative series” for the Disney Channel where she follows the M.O. established by Kutcher on Punk’d. The only difference is that instead of pulling pranks on just any celebrities, Selena’s going to be targeting Disney stars.

According to a source close to Selena, “Selena shot the pilot and it’s basically like Ashton Kutcher’s old show, Punk’d, but with the Disney kids. Selena was having a ton of fun with it. She’s a goof ball at heart.”

Gotta be careful with those anonymous sources but I really don’t see any benefit in spreading a rumor like this around, so there could be some truth to it. Are you ready for a Disney-style Punk’d and does this hurt or improve the chances for a new Punk’d with Justin as the host?
