Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Voted As Best Chidren’s Movie

Mar - 18 2011 | Sarah Peel | no comments

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was recently named as the best children’s movie of this past decade. The 2004 movie release was voted by kids as the top movie between 2000-2010. No surprise here, since Harry Potter has done so well in both books, and films.

I wonder how J.K. Rowling must feel about this news? Or even the stars from the films? While this honor is no Oscar, I still say it is a big deal. How many movies are named the best film of the decade? Not many, that I can tell you for sure.

Are you happy for all parties involved? Do you consider the books, and movies as legends? I do, but then again it is hard not to consider such a huge success as a legend. Look at Wizard of Oz is considered a legend! It can cover a large amount of films, but those books did mark a generation of kids forever.
