Wizards of Waverly Place’s Jake T. Austin says Justin and Selena Seem Like Really Good Friends

The question of the decade still centers around the relationship/friendship of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, with no clear answers in sight. MTV recently had a chat with Selena’s Wizards of Waverly Place co-star Jake T. Austin during the premiere of I am Number Four to see if he could provide any insight into the couple.

“[Justin has] been on set a few times.” says Austin, “They just seem like really good friends. They both live really similar lifestyles, so I can see why it’s easy for them to get along.”

I can’t say that Jake really shared anything that could be considered earth-shattering news since a night out to see No Strings Attached and some Caribbean pics showing the couple being all cuddly together show that they’re “really good friends” but what’s the big deal with admitting, or denying, it? The Caribbean pics never revealed the all-important photo that would seal the deal and Selena, great singer that she is, seems to lose her voice whenever a camera is pointed at her and someone mentions the ‘J’ word.

Personally, I wish they’d just step forward already. If they’re dating, it’s no big deal because just about everybody already believes they are, and they really are just friends then about a million girls all over the world will breathe a collective sigh of relief.
