New Nintendo 3DS Game-Lego Pirates of the Caribbean

The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Strange Tide

Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is coming to your Nintendo 3DS system soon. Disney has confirmed that the game will be released along side the movie of the same title. They will also release regular DS, Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, PC, and Mac editions.

This will make a great birthday gift for kids, and likely be a fun gift for fans of the film. I wonder what made them decide to release it for so many platforms? That was a smart move, but most video games are not released for so many platforms.

Are you planning to buy this game? How do you feel about such a wide release from them? I am happy to see Disney wanting to make this game as big as possible. It will be a great way to promote the actual film. I wish they would give us more details, but hopefully they should this spring. Are you excited for both the film and game to come out?
