Justin Bieber Talks with Ryan Seacrest about the Grammy’s, Never Say Never, and that Movie with Selena

Justin Bieber took some time while he was on the road to call in and talk with Ryan Seacrest during his radio show, according to Popstar. Ryan kept things friendly but didn’t waste any time in finding out what Bieber fans want to know.

The first topic of discussion was American Idol, which changed their minimum age requirements because of Justin’s impact on the music industry. When Ryan commented, “Younger people are better than they’ve ever been at singing,” Justin agreed, saying, “In this new age, it’s going to be more about the youth.”

As all fans know, Justin’s movie, Never Say Never, opens on February 11th, but what you might not know is that Justin is looking forward to people seeing him as more than a performer, saying he’s just a regular 16-year-old living his dream.

While there were a couple of problems with the phone connection, Ryan did have a chance to mention that Justin was nominated for two Grammy’s and Justin verified that he has a World Tour starting in March, and also plans to release another album towards the end of this year.

Would you let a golden opportunity slip away if you had Justin on the phone? Probably not, and Ryan didn’t either. The Web has been buzzing since that recent clip of Justin and Selena leaving the movies popped up online and Ryan wanted to know what he should tell Justin’s fans when they ask about that incident. Justin replied that Selena is like one of his best friends. Ryan saw some humor in that answer when Justin verified that he and Selena had gone to see No Strings Attached. I guess he thought it was funny because that particular movie is about two friends who… oh, never mind. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence.
