Justin Bieber Talks with Chelsea Handler about Lady Gaga

There are a few things I like about the Biebster, and brute honesty can now be added to list. Justin appeared on Chelsea Handler’s talk show, Chelsea Lately, on Monday night and I love the fact that he wasn’t worried about what others might think about him actually having an honest opinion about things.

The web was buzzing Sunday night about Lady Gaga showing up at the Grammy’s in an egg. Gaga’s stylist said Gaga was ‘incubating,’ others were admiring the artistic and creative entrance, Justin was checking out the scene and came to the ultimate conclusion – “You’re an egg.” I have to agree with the Biebster on that one. Gaga’s Grammy entrance was definitely an attention-getter, but a rather lame one when you consider all she did was basically lounge around in her little plastic bubble – excuse me – egg.

The incubating egg wasn’t the only thing that Gaga’s done that Justin thought was strange. The infamous meat dress she wore at the VMA’s also got his attention… mainly because it almost affected him on a more personal level than the egg routine, “She went for a hug [at the 2010 VMAs] and I was like, ‘Oh, let’s hold up on that. You have meat on you!” Come on, Justin. It’s only raw meat. Live a little.

While I cracked up over Justin’s views on Lady Gaga’s artistic sensibilities, I had to applaud his honesty regarding the Grammy miss, saying he was disappointed that he didn’t get a win. Some people have had a few things to say about that honesty but any person nominated for a big award who doesn’t win is lying when they say they’re not disappointed. It’s normal, and admitting it shouldn’t come across as a shocking revelation.
