First 3D TV Network Set To Launch This Sunday

Discovery has teamed up with Sony and DirecTV to launch the first ever 3D TV station this Sunday. The station will have original shows and also show Discovery’s other stations shows in 3D. The network is called 3net, and right now will only be available for subscribers to DirecTV.

They are taking this 3D craze has gone way too far, do we really need that many 3D things? I am not a fan of it and I think that it has gone too far now. Our eyes are not meant for 3D images to be seen all the time.

Are you excited for the channel? Do you hope that they will create 3D cartoon shows for it? I think that we need to keep 3D away from our everyday lives, it just is not natural for our eyes and might cause harm for kids or older people. Plus the long-term affects cannot be good for anyone. I doubt that they even know about long term affects after daily uses, since that has never been available before.
