Who are the Top Earning On Screen Couples?

We’ve brought you Billboard’s Top Hot Tours of 2010 and now we will bring you the top earning on screen couples.  And it may come as a surprise that Twilight couple Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson did not make the list.  Instead the Harry Potter couple Emma Watson playing Hermoine and Rupert Grint playing Ron Weasley have topped the list as Hollywood’s top earning on screen couple.

The duo have beaten out Lord of the Rings Liv Tyler and Viggo Mortensen and Pirates of the Carribbean couple Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley to land on top of the Forbes magazine list.  To formulate the list, Forbes looked at couples that appeared on screen together more than once in the last ten years.  The money mag then added up the global box office for all the films they starred in together.

Watson and Grint doubled second place Mortensen and Tyler’s take by a whopping 6.3 billion dollars.  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is set to open theaters this summer and it will close the chapter in the Harry Potter saga. 1. Rupert Grint & Emma Watson (Harry Potter franchise) – $6.3 billion
2. Liv Tyler & Viggo Mortensen (Lord of the Rings franchise) – $3 billion
3. Orlando Bloom & Keira Knightley (Pirates of The Caribbean franchise) – $2.7 billion
4. Leonardo DiCaprio & Kate Winslet (Titanic & Revolutionary Road) – $1.9 billion
5. Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart (Twilight franchise) – $1.8 billion
