Unreleased Demi Lovato “Shut Up and Love Me” Finds its Way Online

Demi Lovato might still be in rehab but her music is still getting attention. A short clip of an unreleased track, Shut Up and Love Me, was apparently leaked online Tuesday. Rep’s for Demi have confirmed that the track is legit and that it’s from an old song. The clip, which is only a few seconds long, is more tease than anything but Demi does sound pretty good in it.

Now let’s be honest for a minute. The term ‘leak’ is thrown around pretty easily these days and sometimes the ‘leak’ is actually a carefully coordinated PR stunt done to generate interest. Of course, genuine leaks do actually occur sometimes, too.

Is the snippet of Shut Up and Love Me a real leak or could it possibly be a warm-up for Demi’s eventual re-entry into the world of music?

There are a few rumors circulating around that she’ll be released next month, which makes now a perfect time for some of her music to get leaked online.
