Shakira the sexy singer has beaten out the competition from Black Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga to be named the most downloaded track of last year on Nokia’s Ovi Music service.  The star sang the official 2010 FIFA World Cup anthem, Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) and fans flocked to purchase the tune.

Shakira the pop diva has mesmerized fans  all over the world with her great music and style has proved that all her hard work is still the best among the lot.  With her song nabbing the number one spot it only shows that her staying power has not diminished and clearly the fans have spoken.

Those officials at Ovi Music have now named it the most popular song of 2010.  The song is followed closely by “Long Time No See” by Chinese singer Jay Chou who stars currently alongside with Seth Rogen in the Green Hornet movie.  The Green Hornet has hit #1 in the box office over the weekend and it has become something of a sleeper hit.  In the number three spot is the Black Eyed Peas “I Gotta Feeling”.  Lady Gaga rounded out the top five with her hits “Bad Romance’ and “Poker Face”.  According to the official figures Rihanna’s ‘Rated R’ was the most downloaded album of 2010 on their site.
