Send Mail with Pixar Style

Mail? Stamps? Do people actually still use snail mail? How 20th Century of them.

Just kidding. As convenient as email is, nothing beats actually receiving a physical card in the mail, especially for those special occasions like Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and birthdays. When one of those special occasions roll around, or you just want to send a letter for the heck of it, Pixar is helping you add some animated fun to the envelope with 20 stamps that feature five different designs.

According to Cambio News, you’ll have to wait until August to get your hands on the new stamps, which feature Carl Fredricksen and Dug from Up, Lightning McQueen and Mater from Cars, Buzz Lightyear and two aliens from Toy Story, Linguini and Remy the Rat from Ratatouille, and Wall*E from Wall*E (of course).

The new Pixar series is called Send a Hello and is a modern spin on the Art of Disney collection that appeared between 2004 and 2008. The Art of Disney series was originally going to have three installments showing friendship, romance and celebration, but their success led the way to two follow-up stamp series’ that involved imagination and magic.

I guess it will be a throw-down between the old and the new to see if the Pixar stamps have that kind of staying power.
