Selena Gomez loves her band and her fans, so it was a nice surprise that she was booked to sing at the People’s Choice Awards. She recently got the news herself and of course took it to Twitter. Here is what she tweeted.

So excited for Peoples Choice Awards! Thank you for supporting my band and I! We’re so blessed :)

This is great news that she and her band are starting to get noticed by award academies. I hope this trend stays around and that maybe next time they will be nominated for an award. I hope they post their performance online.

Will you watch the show for Selena and her band? I think that this is such an exciting way to start off 2011 for them. I hope that they can keep doing this well for the whole year, maybe even better. I wonder who else will be attending and performing at the show? Does anyone know of any other young celeb who will be attending?
