Nickelodeon to Premiere Power Rangers Samurai

Nickelodeon is bringing the Power Rangers franchise to a new generation.  Power Rangers Samurai will premiere on prime-time Monday February 7th at 8 pm (ET/PT).  The all-new half hour series of episodes will feature a new cast of Rangers and never-before-seen villains.  Combining comedy with action filled storylines filled with high-octane action, martial arts, and advanced special effects.

Power Rangers Samurai follow a new generation of five Rangers who must master the ancient Samurai Symbols of Power which will give them control over the elements Earth, Sky, Fire, Water, and Earth.  Under the guidance of their of their Samurai mentor Ji and with the aid of their devoted animal Zords (Lion, Dragon, Ape, Turtle and Bear) they will battle to save Earth from the dark forces of the Netherworld led by their evil Master Xandred.

The premiere episode “The Team Unites”, Mike the Green Ranger can’t anticipate an attack like Kevin and Jayden he grows frustrated and takes a break from training to meet up with old friends.  But when the long armed named Rofer attacks Mike while he’s with his friends and family when he tries to fight him and learns a very important lesson about being a Power Ranger along the way.
