Howard Stern Talks About Miley Cyrus
Shock talk radio host Howard Stern was on Piers Morgan Tonight and talked about his opinion on Miley Cyrus music. It was brought up when he was talking about growing older and how musical taste can change. You can hear what Howard had to say about Miley in the video located at the bottom of this post.
It seems like everybody has an opinion on Miley and I guess in a way that can be good because it keeps her in the headlines. Yet most people have bad feelings about her and it is sad in a lot of ways. Maybe her music or copying Britney Spears is annoying and not your cup of tea, but I sort of feel bad when people make fun of her because she is so young.
What do you think about Howard Stern’s opinion? Do you think people should lighten up on Miley? I do, but at the same time, I do think she needs to try to take her time with switching her fan base.

Sarah, liking a song is not copying it. Miley Cyrus certainly isn’t copying Britney Spears musically. For one thing, Miley does pop, rock, country, ballads; she’s far more eclectic than Britney, who pretty much sticks to pop. Second, the two have such radically different voices that they never come across anything like one another. What Miley has copied from Britney Spears is Britney’s hugely successful business model for how a former Disney star can dump all that harmful Disney baggage so it doesn’t leave her typecast forever as a “Disney child star”.
I definitely feel people should give the girl a break. I mean for heaven sakes, she’s only 18. I know plenty of other starlets that have it worse than her. In particular Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, the list continues. But it amazes me how people choose to target Miley 24/7. Miley is only a fan of Britney. Nothing more, nothing said. And besides, Britney as Chris pointed out sticks to one genre, as Miley’s genre’s expand. So you can kill the swaggerjacker claims. Miley doesn’t need to copy ANYONE for that matter, she’s achieved her success on her own. Not her dad as many say, her, on her own. But people really need to lay off this girl and relax. Because I’m sure she could care less how ANY of you haters feel. She’s sleeping good, thinking of her next move to please her fans like me. That is all.
I love Miley. She is so successful because she is so talented and she doesn’t try to copy anyone. she has her own style.
I agree with Chris 100% Britney and Miley are completely different.
I think people are hard on Miley because she’s growing up, and they don’t like it. They want her to remain that little girl from Hannah Montana, and Miley is not having that. People make it seem Miley is trying so hard to leave the Disney image behind, no. It is people trying so hard to keep her with that Disney image. Everytime she pulls away, people ty to push her back. Whenever Miley is talked about they always say “The star of Disney’s Hannah Montana.” *NEWSFLASH* She is the most famous teen in the world, yes that is because of Hannah Montana, but Miley has been showing us for years that there is more to her than being on a show on the Disney Channel. And that is exactly what Miley is trying to prove. If people would stop treating her like she’s 8 instead of 18, maybe she would stop acting like she’s 28.
