Megamind Mega Team Unite – Wii Review
My kids loved the Megamind movie, and what kid does not love the Wii, so I figured they would be excited for playing Megamind Mega Team Unite. After the game loads you have two modes to tackle, the Story Mode and the Battle Mode. Problem is they are too similar….
Jump into the Story Mode, where both my boys become part of the Mega Team squad-based play. This is pretty cool, as they can both play together and at the end of each round the player dealing out the most damage will win a medal. This means they spend the game play working together but at the same time competing against each other. A cool concept that the boys enjoyed.
The controls were good as the button placement seemed well thought out, not just thrown together. My boys went through all the levels pretty quickly, though, as the rounds are pretty similar type cage matches in different settings. My boys enjoyed the cut scenes, which I thought were well done, but overall the game seems more like a mini-game in different settings.
The boys enjoyed the game for the movie license, but it was over a bit too quickly and was a bit too repetitious for them to want to go back and play some more.

I totally agree. My two boys finished all of the levels in about an hour and are bored of it already. Very Disappointed in this Dreamworks game. Waste of money. Don’t buy it!
Nothing against your summary of the game, but there’s no way it was finished in one hour. Five main levels, each having nine parts, plus some bonus content. That’s over 45 sections, each taking a few minutes or more – add in cutscenes, and I would say at bare minimum two, maybe two and a half, hours.
