Katie Couric Will Appear on Glee

Glee will be a getting a news worthy guest star for their post- Super Bowl episode.  Katie Couric the American journalist and anchor of CBS’ Evening News will be guest staring on Glee.  Couric will be playing herself on the episode opposite Sue (Jane Lynch).

As a self-described Gleek Couric was quick to express her disappointment in the Glee photo shoot for GQ which had Lea Michele, Dianna Argon, and Cory Monteith in racy poses.  These photos Katie says didn’t fit with the Glee style.  Couric’s scenes are said to be filmed soon and you can bet that her and Jane will provide lots of quips and laughs for the audience.  The episode will air on February 6th and Katie will be interviewing Matthew Morrison on CBS Sunday Morning this Sunday.

Glee star Lea Michele also confirmed in news recently that the hit musical comedy will be adding a Black Eyed Peas hi-hop track to their line-up of songs for the back half of season two.  The cast of Glee is hoping that Fregie or the Black Eyed Peas might be able to make a guest appearance on the show it will all depend on the groups schedule.
