Dolly Parton Says Taylor Swift Is Moving In The Right Way

Dolly Parton sat down recently with Larry King on his show Larry King Live and she had a lot to say about some of the young female singers that are in the lime light recently.  When she was asked about Miley Cyrus, she commented that the young star seems to be in a crosswind and everyone should just let her grow up.

Larry King asked Dolly Parton about Taylor Swift and the iconic country star had a lot to say about the Taylor.  She commented that she thinks is a very smart and beautiful girl and Taylor is making all the right moves.  Dolly believes that Taylor has a great head on her shoulders, and has surrounded herself with some wonderful people.  Not only are Taylor’s songs great but she keeps herself anchored and doesn’t let the fame get to her head too much.  Taylor obviously knows who she is and she is living and standing by that.

Parton also believes that Taylor is a great role model for young people.  When Parton was asked if Taylor is getting too much too soon, she disagreed with King saying that Taylor has a lot of qualities that could last a long time.  She hopes that the star will have a really hot streak and what may seem like 15 minutes of fame lasts for 40 years.  Talk about a great stamp of approval.
