Disney Channel King of the Mountain for November

How do you top being the number one network for seven months in a row? The Disney Channel decided the answer was to have the best monthly ratings ever, and that’s exactly what they did during the month of November.

According to Disney Info, the ‘house of mouse’ pulled in the viewers with the highly anticipated Hannah Montana Forever one-hour special, as well as debuting the new series, Shake It Up. Good Luck Charlie also provided a little good luck along the way.

In addition to earning the honor for being the number one network for ages 9 to 14 for the seventh consecutive month, the Disney Channel has also been the number one network in prime for 69 consecutive months for ages 6 to 11 and still holds onto the record of 67 months for being the most watched network for ages 9 to 14.

Coming as no surprise to anyone, the Hannah Montana Forever one-hour special was the most watched show for ages 6 to 11 and 9 to 14, with the series premiere of Shake It Up claiming the number two spot. Both Shake It Up and Good Luck Charlie are the tops series for kids.

Will Disney continue being king of the hill or will some other network finally rise to the challenge?
