Ben Barnes Has Narnia Sword To Keep Prowlers Away

Ben Barnes the British actor who plays Prince Caspian in the two Narnia sequels has confessed he keeps a replica of his sword from the film franchise under his bed to scare off potential intruders from his London home.

On the movie set he befriended the weapons experts and asked them to make him some personal keepsakes as mementos from the movie.   He told WENN that he actually called up Weta workshop (prop company) who made all the weapons and do a lot of the make-up for Lord of the Rings and Narnia.  He got them to make Ben a copy of the ring that his character has in this film and also the sword with the lion’s head on it.  Talk about a way to scare off intruders.

In this third installment of the Chronicles of Narnia, Lucy and Edmund Pevensie (the youngest of the four Pevensie children) return to Narnia with their cousin Eustace, where they meet up with Prince Caspian to save the world of Narnia from an evil unlike anything they have seen before.  The Chronicles of Narnia:  The Voyage of the Dawn Treader has so far held onto the top spot in international cinemas raking in 24.5 million dollars and hanging still to the number two spot is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, both fan favourites.
