Beastly New Trailer with Vanessa Hudgens

The story of Beauty and the Beast is iconic and well known and has been done several times in several different fashions, but next year it will get a reboot bringing it into our time.  A new trailer for Beastly has been released and you can catch it below!  The movie will star Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical) and Alex Pettyfer (I Am Number Four), in a story of Kyle Kingson who has everything – looks, intelligence, opportunity, and wealth but a very wicked streak.

Being prone to humiliating and mocking the ‘unattractive classmates’ at his school he makes his newest his next mark on a Goth girl Kendra inviting her to environmental bash.  Kendra accepts, but true to form he blows her off at the last minute and Kendra takes her revenge and casts a nasty spell on him.  The spell turns Kyle into everything he has despised and the only way to revert back to his original form is to find someone that will love him as he is – a task he thinks is impossible.

Banished to a Brooklyn townhouse by his father he meets a sympathetic housekeeper (Lisa Gay Hamilton) and a blind tutor (Neil Patrick Harris) who gives him some insightful advice.  And as Kyle tries to overcome his curse he offers a drug addict freedom and his daughter Lindy (Vanessa Hudgens) safety.  This begins Kyle’s journey to true love but will he be able to overcome the curse in time?
