Selena Gomez Discusses Her Upcoming Film Monte Carlo

Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez recently did an interview with Kidkraddick where she discussed her upcoming new film Monte Carlo. The film is a romantic comedy and stars Selena, Katie Cassidy (Gossip Girl) and Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl) as three friends posing as wealthy socialites in Monaco. The film’s director is Thomas Bezucha (The Family Stone), and some of the rest of the cast include Andie MacDowell (Four Weddings and a Funeral), Catherine Tate (The Catherine Tate Show), Cory Monteith (Glee), Amanda Fairbank-Hynes (The Time of Your Life) and Brett Cullen (The Gates). The film will be released on February 11, 2011.

The is the last season in which Selena will play Alex Russo on Wizards of Waverly Place as this is the fourth and final season for the popular Disney Channel show.
