First-Look Image For New Muppet Film

Walt Disney Pictures has just released this first-look image for the upcoming movie The Muppets. The movie will be released on December 25, 2011 and will be directed by James Bobin (The Flight of the Conchords). There have been a number of Muppet-related movies over the years, and the Jim Henson-created characters Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy have become pop culture icons.

From the photo, it looks like the Muppets are still a lot of fun. I’m sure there are many muppet fans out there of all ages who are looking foward to The Muppets, as people have been growing up on these the lovable puppets for more than 30 years.

Not much is known about the movie because so much is being kept under wraps. Here is a tentative synopsis: Kermit the Frog and his muppet pals put on a show to save their old theater. This info is not 100 percent accurate, but that’s all there is at the moment.
