Daniel Radcliffe Gets Funny Being Harry Potter

One might think that after playing a role for over ten years, that you might start relating a little too much to the character you portray.  This may seem all together too true for the Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe in the new Funny or Die sketch.  It is a hilarious scene to listen as Radcliffe believes he is Harry Potter and Daniel Radcliffe is just a character he plays.  If you haven’t seen the video check it out below and laugh along with the rest of us when the interviewer asks for clarification and Daniel responds, “No, I am Harry.”

This footage is a different change from how we have seen Radcliffe before, the recent installment of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has hit number one in the box office and has already raked in 350 million in it’s opening weekend and is expected only to grow during the Thanksgiving weekend.  In this installment we see Radcliffe’s character Harry on the move as he, Ron and Hermione try to solve a way around Voldemort’s immortality.  It is certainly worth the watch and some of the darker content might not be suitable for younger kids.

As for Funny or Die it is an online video website founded by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s production company Gary Sanchez Productions.  The site contains original and user generated content as well as exclusive material from several famous contributors (eg. Jude Apatow, and James Franco).  Also there is a Funny or Die team that creates original material for the site and is well worth looking at if you need to have a good laugh.
