Brandon Mychal Smith Talks to Radio Disney

Brandon Mychal Smith was recently interviewed by Radio Disney on his newest project Skating With The Stars which happens to be a spin-off of the very popular Dancing With the Stars.  Brandon will join six other celebrities on the ice to compete and the show will follow the similar formula of Dancing With the Stars by having celebrities paired with professional figure skaters.  The show will premiere on ABC on November 22 and is scheduled to be six episodes long.

Brandon has spoken out recently, giving some love to his co-star Demi Lovato who has had the media swirling around her since she entered treatment for ‘emotional and physical issues’.  Smith commented that the industry can be pretty brutal and sometimes you just need to step away from the lime light and take some time for yourself and he applauds her for being brave to recognize she needed help and went to go get it.    Smith also said that the way he keeps himself grounded is by being close to his family.

Brandon is likely best known for his roles as Li’l Danny Dawkins in Phil of the Future and Nico Harris in Sonny With A Chance.  The actor, comedian, singer and rapper seems to be enjoying his stint on the ice and looks like a natural in the interview which you can view below.
