Mitchel Musso Talks About Autism
Mitchel Musso is joining the support of a great charity called Autism Speaks and he has even filmed a PSA for it. In it, he talks about autism and how you can help with the charity to raise awareness about it. You can catch it at the bottom of this post.
Miley Cyrus has also teamed up with Autism Speaks, however the video that we are sharing with you doesn’t have her in it. I do think that it is great that Mitchel wants to help bring awareness of this illness that people face. Not enough attention is being given to it and that needs to change.
What do you think of Mitchel’s PSA about autism? Do you think he is doing a good cause or just another example of Disney and their marketing? I really hope that he and Miley both can bring in a large amount of support for this charity. Autism can make a person’s life terrible, so they need to bring awareness to the cause so more research can be done.

I don’t care whether this PSA is “doing a good cause or just another example of Disney and their marketing” but, rather, I care more about the Bottom Line: Will It Help and Will This Particular Cause Suit People of ALL Ages or Only Kids/Teens/Tweens? I have Asperger’s Syndrome, by the way and am proud to be a New England Yankee so I suppose that means I belong to a much different culture than Miss Cyrus but I am certainly very pleased to learn that this teen girl is supporting a cause for the assistance of Autistic individuals such as me. No, I am not demanding to be treated like a charity case but to a certain degree something really needs to be done. Okay, so even if this cause is some sort of Disney marketing scheme, if it works, I could live with that. No, I am not very young. When I was a teenager, the Spice Girls had just released Wannabee and Say You’ll Be There, Ally McBeal was a HIT TV series, VCR’s and CRT TV’s and Rabbit Ear Antennas were a commonplace household appliance, songs such as Rhythm of the Night by Corona and the Macarena by Los Del Rio and Searching My Soul by Vonda Shepard and Do You Know What It Takes by Robyn were considered HIT Music, and any radio station that was not a BIG CITY radio station most likely did not have any websites (for when I was Miley Cyrus’s age, ABSOLUTELY NONE OF my favorite FM AC, Hot AC, or Top 40 radio stations had any websites) and I have to this very day never sent a single text message or a single tweet in my entire life (nor did I ever even learn how to send a text message). I still think it is a wonderful idea to have the young teenagers of Disney help out people living with Autism and different variants of the disorder. Just so long as they help ALL patients of Autism and not just simply the kids, teens, and tweens, then I’m cool with this. I don’t have the slightest clue that in the world Mitchel Musso is but I have heard of Miss Cyrus just a little bit. Maybe it’s an age/generational thing but I am not exactly up on my Disney actor/actress knowledge. Wait a second, but isn’t she Hannah Montana that “Smiley Miley” person who is closely-related to Billy Ray Cyrus? More specifically, Miley Cyrus would be the daughter of the Achy Breaky Heart song, am I correct? Now, isn’t Hannah Montana the same person as Miley Cyrus or something like that but it all depends on whether it is light or dark outside? Like, isn’t it like she is Miley during daylight hours and then she suddenly turns into Hannah Montana whenever the sun goes down and the moon comes out (sort of like a werewolf)? No, if this is just another one of Disney’s corporate marketing schemes, I would NOT mind. So the Hell What? That would not bother me in the least. If it does the trick, than I guess there would be no reason to complain. Beggars can’t be choosers, I guess. Just don’t cast those Jonas Brothers’ into the campaign or I will have to turn into a werewolf myself, lol.
