Disney is planning on to release a lyrics book and CD combo with 15 new tracks from the upcoming Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam movie. The movie which premiers this Friday(September 3rd) on the Disney Channel also has a soundtrack as well.

We do not have a track listing for the Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam sing along CD and book combo. But I think it is safe to say that it is about the same as the soundtrack. It should be fun for big time Jonas Brother and Demi Lovato fans. You can pre-order the combo kit now and it will officially come out on the 14th of September. Luckily, it is coming out in time for those who wish to buy it before the holiday rush.

Are you planning on buying the kit? I think it would be fun to sing along with combo kit. Make a great gift for young singers who wish to do it for a living. I sort of hope that Disney will choose to make more Camp Rock films!

Walt Disney Picture’s latest fairytale animated movie hits theaters in November, but the movie posters are already popping up.  Tangled follows the traditional tale of Rapunzel, with the Disney twist and top notch animation, of course.  The movie features the voices of Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi, Ron Perlman, and Brad Garrett.

The international poster isn’t in English, but apparently overseas the movie is called Rapunzel, not Tangled.  I’m not sure why, but I think it’s probably because of a little known movie starring Rachel Leigh Cook, which was also titled Tangled.  That movie went straight to DVD here in the US, but did well overseas and it was very adult with a hard R rating.  Disney probably didn’t want their latest kiddie flick associated with that movie.  Will you be seeing Tangled in November?

Disney channel star Raven Symone will be guesting on the hit series Sonny with a Chance, which stars brunette funny girl Demi Lovato.  Raven will play her usual zany self, this time showing up as the president of the Chad Dylan Cooper fan club.   Raven comes up with a plan to make Chad more popular, and sets her sights on breaking Sonny and Chad up.

I’m glad to see Raven appearing on Sonny to liven things up.  I think she’s a very talented physical comedienne and Demi’s show will be a great place to show that talent off.  My kids, on the other hand, think she’s annoying.  What do you think?  Is Raven a comedy genius or is she so over the top you just want to turn her off?

TeenNick has a new series coming out this October called Gigantic, which will be about two celebrity kids and their life’s. You can see the preview clip at the bottom of this post.

The show seems to be following the recent hit teen show plots of following rich kids. I rather hope they bring back the classic format of regular kids and teens. The shows like Gigantic seem to be over played out. I think they need to bring back some simple story lines of regular teens. But I suppose thats what is popular at the moment.

No official premier date or time slot has been set as of yet, but it should be some time in October. Are you planning to watch the show? I think that I will just catch clips of it online, since I am not really sure if the show will be all that good or not. I just feel like that they could make it a bit more unique than they did.

After what seemed to be a long wait for Taylor Swift’s newest music video is over! We have the official video for her newest single Mine, which will is the first single for Speak Now. You can watch it below at the bottom of this post.

I like the video and I think it relates to the song well. I love how it fast forwards and you seem them getting married, having kids and how well it turns out. I think this is good video and I love that Taylor made it unique. We need more sweet music videos like this one.

The Disney Channel original series Hannah Montana is in its final season, and in a special one hour episode Hannah will reveal her true identity.  In case you haven’t seen the series, Hannah Montana is about regular girl Miley Stewart who is actually, secretly, a rock star.  She’s hidden her famous identity so she can have a normal life.  Here’s the promo for it:

“World-famous superstar Hannah Montana has been living a double life as Malibu teen Miley Stewart?! Say what, say what? In the much anticipated, 1-hour episode from the all-new season, Hannah Montana Forever, the whole world will watch as Hannah takes the wig off…for good! Selena Gomez’s new album, “A Year Without Rain”, will have the title single release this Friday!  The music video will follow the world premiere of the much hyped Disney original movie Camp Rock 2:The Final Jam, which stars Selena’s real life BFF Demi Lovato.  The track will play over the air on Radio Disney that same day and you can download it on September 3 after the premiere.

The album “A Year Without Rain” will hit stores on September 21.  It’s rumored that it will include songs recorded with Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, and Demi Lovato.  Do you think Miley recorded with Selena?  Will you be tuning in for the video following Camp Rock 2?

This past summer the movie theater held a handful of major successful films for families and Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 3 did not fail by any means! The money earned from Toy Story 3 has passed $1 billion now and that makes it the first animated movie to ever cross that milestone. But that is not the only Disney family film that passed the mark this summer; Tim Burtons Alice in Wonderland also passed the same milestone and is ranked in second place this year.

Disney is planning a feature packed DVD release of The Black Cauldron, one of their lesser known animated films.  The release will coincide with the 25th anniversary of the movie.  The Black Cauldron was really the end of an era; the last of the old-school fantasy movies that included Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and The Sword in the Stone. Ariel and crew blasted onto the silver screen just a few years later completely changing the way Disney made movies, with catchy, modern musical numbers and high quality animation that continues with the upcoming Rapunzel.

The Black Cauldron is centers around a magical black cauldron the Horned King will stop at nothing to possess.  Of course a humble lad, Taran, is the only thing standing in his way and you have the classic fantasy story standoff of supervillain vs. humble every guy.  If you collect Disney movies, you’ll want to get your hands on this one!  The Black Cauldron hits stores on Sept. 14.

Pokemon was a huge deal back in late 90s and early 2000s, yet the first big success from anime Pokemon is still an ongoing market and the Suite Life On Deck stars Cole and Dylan Sprouse prove that. We have a few photos and video of them from their commercial for the new Pokemon game for the Nintendo DS.

The commercial shows just how close Dylan and Cole are, I do find that the commercial was written well. Even if it is a little silly and all, you can tell that they really like the game. I say that is marketing done well. Not many people could do this kind of commercial and make it sound that good. Dylan and Cole’s family should feel proud of them.
