Miranda Cosgrove Tweets Thanks

Miranda Cosgrove, who voiced the character of Margo in the summer blockbuster Despicable Me, jumped on Twitter using her iPhone to thank fans for the movie’s phenomenal success.

She tweeted:

“Despicable Me” just passed the 200 million mark! Thanks so much to everyone!

I’m not surprised the movie’s doing well.  It had a great message and an all-star cast, including Steve Carrell, Julie Andrews, and Kristen Wiig in addition to Miranda.  It released on July 9, so that $200 million is just one month’s revenue, and that’s not including DVD sales.  Have you seen Despicable Me in the theater?  Did you like it?  I wonder if a lot of people saw the movie twice or if those ticket sales are all first time watchers.
