See How Disney Made “Tangled”

Tangled is a new animated feature from Disney, set to release on November 24 in 3D.  This flick puts a twist on the standard Rapunzel (played by Mandy Moore) tale.  A notorious bandit and outlaw Flynn Rider hides out in her tower, she takes him hostage.  They make a deal and set off together for adventures with a cast of quirky sidekicks.  Aren’t there always quirky sidekicks?

Anyway, this film looks more Shrek than Snow White, with humor and farcical situations.  Disney recently released a featurette showing how they put together Tangled‘s world.  Rapunzel has yards and yards of hair, and the film is all CG.  Somehow I missed that this movie was coming out, but I’m excited to see it.  It looks like a great holiday movie to see with the whole family.  Are you happy to see another Disney fairytale?
