Ramona and Beezus Earns Eight Million In Opening Weekend

Low cost film Ramona and Beezus opened this weekend in the box office to the tune of $8,000,000 (eight million). This movie has earned less than what was expected for its opening, but everything is not said or done yet for Ramona and Beezus. The good news is that they already are on their way to earn back the film’s budget and make a decent profit.

I really am shocked that only 2,719 theaters are showing a classic childhood book turned movie. I think that was limiting what it could have made. But I still do not think that it did badly per se, though no one will deny that it could have done better during opening week. I think that during the coming weeks it will get stronger in its own earnings. After all, Ramona and Beezus is a staple around the country.
