We attended our first NASFT Summer Fancy Food Show in the Javits Center this year and while we have a whole bunch of reviews that will focus on the products for children. 

I do not know if it is the increased outdoor activity but my kids snack a whole lot more in the summertime.  That made attending the Summer Fancy Food Show such a great trip as I would be able to look for new snacks among other things.  With all this extra snacking I want to make sure that the kids are getting something healthy, and although my kids do not have food allergies several of their friends do so I like to have a stash of gluten free, dairy free, nut free snacks for sharing on play dates. 

That was one of our main goals for BSCkids attending, and luckily there was a great selection of snacks at the show that fit into what I was looking for.  I got to sample many of these snacks and thought they were good, but what would the kids think of them?  Who wnats to buy stuff that the kids end up not eating?  After we got too full to be able to taste samples we brought some home for the boys to taste.  What we will do is allow them to taste one or two things after dinner and then hopefully do a quick write up on the product.

I finally am caught up on Sonny with a Chance and I am looking to learn a bit more about Sonny when she returns to her high school for Homecoming.  In the last few episodes I have watch I really have gotten a better understanding of how talented Demi Lovato is.

 It should be real interesting when Sonny and Tawni drive cross country together as I can only imagine Tawni stuck in a car with Sonny for a long period of time.  I wonder who spreads the thief rumors or if it just a misunderstanding or something taken out of context?  Check out the promo pictures below and let us know what you think about Sonny with a Chance!

It sounds like Ashley’s had some drama in her life that has nothing to do with movies. An earlier tweet:

Miley Cyrus is very popular around the world, but perhaps she is most popular in Holland. This month she is on the cover of two Dutch magazines and she looks great on both. The magazines are sadly not available her in the US, but you can see both covers below. We also have a video at the very bottom.

I like both covers, she looks youthful and not overly acting like she is more mature. Very friendly looking photos and I love the fact that she is still being on the covers of teen magazines. That in my opinion proves that she cares about her fans who made her where she is today. Also Miley Cyrus looks so happy on them, it is nice to see her smile for a change and not trying to look like she a rocker.

Nick Jonas has been busy busy this month!  In addition to starring in the popular musical Les Miserables and kissing his costar, preparing for the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2010,and raising awareness for Juvenile Diabetes, he also managed to find time to interview for the British morning show GMTV.

He talked about his love of musical theater, the World Cup (he’s a huge fan), and what his brothers are up to.  Right now the Jonas brothers are split up, with Kevin in the US and Jick and Joe in Europe.  The hosts of GMTV teased him a little bit, trying to get him to play a toy piano that was on the set.  Nick’s a good sport, though.

Dylan and Cole Sprouse answered a few impromptu questions recently including what they are most nervous about for NYU!  The third season of Suite Life on Deck will be finished shooting in August.  This season Zack and Cody will be going to Japan and joining a monastery of sorts while Cody tries to get over his breakup with Bailey, played by Debby Ryan.

When they have free time, the boys say they play PC games and their Wii on set (what’s wrong with PS3?) They tease costar Debby Ryan a bit, but the real tearjerker comes at the beginning of the interview, when they reveal just who they will miss the most when they head to New York.

Up and coming big actor Zac Efron has taken the time out to discuss his newest movie, Charlie St. Cloud with Entertainment Tonight. The movie, which opens on July 30th, is the main topic of the interview, but they do ask a few other questions to him. You can watch it below.

I love the fact that Zac Efron talks about how the story touched him in his life. They also threw him a few fun questions, which always makes interviews much more interesting. But all in all, it is decent interview about his movie. I expect plenty of more interviews to happen this month due to his promotion of the movie. I also think that the film should do well in the box office, after all many of his fans from his High School Musical days should be willing to watch it. But I also think this will be his break into more serious roles.

Justin Bieber is set to perform for Macy’s 4th of July concert and he is sharing a behind the scenes look of it. In this video, he shows you his rehearsal process leading up to Sunday’s performance that will air on TV-so check your local listings. The rehearsal video is at the bottom of this post for you to watch

I love it when anyone releases a rehearsal video and shows their fans all the hard work it takes to get a good performance. Plus with Justin Bieber, leading you through it is really nice. Most rehearsal videos do not have the star of them leading it, so it is a nice additional thing to have in the video. Less like a documentary and more like reality TV is the feeling it gives off.

That’s So Raven actess Raven-Symone will star in new made for TV movie, Revenge of the Bridesmaids.  ABC Family will air the original movie right in the middle of wedding season, scheduling its world premiere on July 18.

The plot goes like this. Raven plays the character of Abigail.  One of Abigail’s friends steals another friend’s boyfriend, and now the happy couple are getting married.   Raven and her buddies are chosen to be bridesmaids, but instead of being honored to serve the bride they vow revenge and try to sabotage the wedding.  I think things must go wrong somewhere, because the trailer shows Raven having her mug shot taken!

Miley Cyrus as we mentioned a few days ago will be on a special to help Dolly Parton mark 25 years of Dollywood. Here is a video that aired an E! Networks that both Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton are together again. This show will not actually air on E!, but one the Hallmark channel this Saturday.

I like it and it should be entertaining to watch. Anything that has Dolly Parton in it is almost always fun to watch. Though Miley Cyrus should add something to the mix of the show and make it appeal to all ages. I am not sure what is all planned, but you can expect some singing and perhaps other little fun surprises. I am sure that it will be worth watching by the long shot.
