Miranda Cosgrove Dishes About Despicable Me

Despicable Me star Steve Carell interviewed Miranda Cosgrove  about her role in the new film Despicable Me. Miranda plays Margo, an orphan girl determined to make Gru (played by Steve) into her daddy.  It’s the first time the iCarly actress has done an animated movie.

Miranda liked how they filmed her in the studio so they could make her on-screen character look like her.  Miranda’s an only child but she took right to her role as the biggest sister of the orphans, and can’t help but giggle when thinking of her favorite scenes.  She tells Steve she would love to have an army of minions of her own to bring her cupcakes, her favorite treat, and Steve finds some Minions on set to bring her a purple one!  Despicable Me will be in theaters July 9.
