Demi Lovato To Sing More Soulfully

Demi Lovato is working on her third album and she says she isn’t going to the rock path this time around. Instead, she will sing with more “soul” this time around. Here is a direct quote from her.

I’m working on new music, writing new songs, trying to approach a different route, doing a new sound. I’m really excited. It’ll be fun. It’s more R&B/pop. I’m trying to bring out my inner ‘soul’; a new side of Demi. I’m straying away from the rock this time

I am a little sad to see that she won’t do doing a rock style album. But I guess she needs a change from her past 2 records, yet it should be interesting to see how she pulls this off. I am hoping that Demi Lovato does a few upbeat and positive songs as well. I think they suite her voice well and I think that ballads are a bit tough for her vocal range to pull off.

In the mean time while waiting for Demi Lovato’s new album, you can catch her live this late summer/fall. Who knows, maybe she will try out a new song or tour while being on it. The only way to know for sure is to attend!
