Demi Lovato Once Again Talks About Bullies

One of the reasons why I am a fan of Demi Lovato is of her outspokenness regarding bullies. Once again, she has taken the time out to talk publicly about it and how it affects others. This is what she told the NY Post

Bullying is a very serious thing to me, I’ve witnessed it first hand, I was bullied myself when I was 12

and

She’s(Madison De La Gaza) getting to….that age where she could start becoming insecure. I want to be able to help other girls around her age come into their own with a strong confidence in their skin, their size, who they are and everything about them selves. Nobody wants pressure and wants to be under a magnifier glass, but there are ways..

..tp be role models without claiming to be perfect. I’m learning and dealing with experiences that all teenagers go through. The way I want to be a role model is not by not making mistakes.. but by helping people overcome things from the obstacles that I’ve overcome. That’s how I want to use my voice and that’s how I want to be a role model

Demi Lovato’s passion behind fighting against bullies is something I wish more celebrities had. She has really been out there talking about it and letting kids know that it does happen. I have the ultra most respect for her because she is doing this. Not enough do.

For more of Demi Lovato’s fighting against bullies, you can hear what she had to say a month ago about it. As you can tell, it is a common topic with Demi and you can expect to hear a lot more about in the future.
