Beverley Mitchell Joins The Secret Life Of An American Teenager

Former 7th Heaven actress Beverley Mitchell will be joining the cast of The Secret Life of an American Teenager in January. She will be replacing Mayim Bialik(Blossom) as the new counselor. Both shows were created by a woman named Brenda Hampton.

I always thought that Beverley Mitchell was a good actress, though it will be hard for her older fans to get used to her playing a school counselor. I think she will play a good role and maybe even steal the spotlight from the younger cast. I know I cannot wait to see her on the show! I think she can really bring something to the show.

What are your thoughts on this new addition? Will you miss Mayim’s character or are you eager to see Beverley Mitchell take over? I do wonder how this will reflect on their average viewers, since most fans will likely not know who Beverley is or her old show. It shall be interesting to say at the very least!
