Daniel Radcliffe (aka Harry Potter) – must be too busy – or just wanted to lay a celebrity smackdown – with The Deathly Hallows to pay attention to Justin Bieber, because in a recent interview with MTV he admitted only finding out who the pop star was just weeks ago, and added that he’d heard the songs but thought they were by a girl. This is more interesting, because a few days ago Radcliffe dropped the word he wanted to test his own chops, by singing for FOX’s Glee.

“I only heard Justin Bieber for the first time two weeks ago. I genuinely thought it was a woman singing.” He continued, “I’d never heard it before. Is it big in England yet? I’m so out of the loop when it comes to pop culture that I kind of don’t even try anymore.”

It may be time for Bieber to put out his first battle/diss rap!

Both Radcliffe and Bieber have been in the news recently, with Justin being the subject of Miley’s attention on stage at the MuchMusic Awards last weekend, and Radcliffe’s aforementioned Deathly Hallows getting a teaser trailer, which debuted at the MTV Music Awards earlier this month.

Nick Jonas posted his latest single, “London Foolishly” online this week.  The song is so new there’s not even a studio version yet!  No one knows if it will be released as part of an album.  He revealed his latest work during a webchat with Cambio and posted some of the lyrics on his Twitter account.

Once again, Nick Jonas proves he’s the real deal, writing and performing his own pieces.  He’s just a guy on a couch with a guitar and a song to share.  Nick’s in London because he’s performing in the classic play Les Miserables, playing the part of Marius.  Don’t worry if he sounds a little lonely in the song, because brothers Kevin and Joe Jonas are joining him today to see his first performance!  He acts, he sings, he has naturally curly hair, what’s not to love?

Miley Cyrus gave a sneak peak of her song, “Can’t Be Tamed” during rehearsal for the MuchMusic Awards.  Her new album, including the song, releases worldwide today.

Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus were among the winners of last night’s MuchMusic Awards; in fact, Justin tied for the lead in taking home the most awards, grabbing three! Justin snagged UR FAVE Video, UR FAVE New Artist and Best International Video by a Canadian. Miley co-hosted the event and performed twice, hitting the stage with ‘Party in the USA’ (which also had a very special guest appear on stage!), and closing the show with her new single, ‘Cant Be Tamed’. Miley fans, remember that her new album is out today! Cyrus also took home the award for International Video of the Year for the aforementioned ‘Party in the USA’.

The Disney Channel has released a preview clip of Summer IT’S ON and from the preview, it looks like it will be great. They show clips of upcoming Disney Channel’s original movies and TV shows that will air during this year’s summer time. You can watch the preview at the very bottom of this post and see what they have in store for you this summer!

I think that they will have an awesome summer line up this year and I am sure that many Disney Channel fans will agree with me on this. Some years are either a hit or miss, but this year they are having some really great shows appearing this summer. Plus the final season of Hannah Montana will be on and we all know that you cannot miss that for any Miley Cyrus fan. This summer is not to be missed for any Disney fan or family friendly TV fan.

Tween & teen sensation wants to appear on Larry King’s CNN telethon for aid to the gulf coast from the oil spill. He will be working along with a handful of other celebrities to help CNN and Larry King to raise money for the relief efforts on the gulf coast. Benefits that are raised during the upcoming telethon will go to, the National Wildlife Federation, The Nature Conservancy and United Way. A date has yet to be announced for the telethon.

I am happy that Justin Bieber is bringing a serious issue to the attention of younger aged generation. He is also teaching them about charity and that makes him a fabulous role model to have. Granted, he just expressed interest in it and we do not know when the telethon will happen but it should be pretty soon. I just hope that Justin inspires his fans to donate and help out those in the gulf coast.
