Yesterday we told you that Pretty Little Liars – ABC Family’s new hiy show – had it’s first season extended, almost doubling the episodes from 12 to 22, and today we are back with several TV spots and clips for ‘Reality Bites Me’, the show’s 5th episode, which airs on July 6th. Pretty Little Liars features Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Holly Marie Combs, Troian Bellisario and Chad Lowe. and you can check them and more out in the six minutes of footage we have for you below!

Episode Synopsis - Trying to ignore “A” backfired for the girls, and now they must pay the penalty. Whether it’s a family in crisis, parental praise for an undeserved honor looming over their heads or wearing totally unfashionable scrubs while working off a debt – the girls must deal with it all. And on top of that, “A’s” lipstick message is still haunting them. Meanwhile the girls must also deal with typical teenage drama – the boy kind – when a new boy arrives and pushes the status quo, a secret love is tested, a new romance blooms and an old romance is floating in the grey area.

Saw this over at Celebrity Blend, but I’m a little apprehensive because the other reports are from typically British rag sources. Published by D.C. Thomson & Co. Ltd, The Beano is a long-running British children’s comic strip (check out the official site), and Cole and soccer star Wayne Rooney are set to appear for a 10 issue Summer run. Cole will be “the singing” sidekick to strip star Minnie the Minx, which should suit the hip singer/actress/model perfectly.

According to the reports, a Beano spokesperson said this of Cole and Rooney’s appearance:

“Minnie the Minx will be meeting Cheryl and Wayne in a run of stories which will coincide with the school summer holidays. They are both hugely popular with readers and I’m sure they’ll be thrilled at the prospect of them coming face to face with a British institution, in the shape of Minnie.”

I’m a long time comic fan and I’ve never heard of The Beano (though reading it’s history now, I feel a bit foolish), but it’s never too late to learn!

Harry Potter now has his own Universal theme park in Orlando, and there are some rules that have been generating controversy.  In the interest of safety, rides such as Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey require that safety bars and harnesses fit around passengers, and the bars must click three times.  That’s not a problem for the average rider, but some big guys are getting turned away from rides.

Banks Lee was turned away, but he’s making lemonade out of his lemons.  Standing at 6’2″ and over 300 pounds, Banks is determined to ride Forbidden Journey and has, of course, started a blog about it.   What else is an aggrieved citizen to do in 2010?  Banks Lee and the Three Clicks: My Journey to Fit on an Enchanted Bench will chronicle Banks lifestyle changes as he hopefull loses enough inches to fit on the ride.

Big Time Rush will be releasing their hit song “Famous” today.  You can get your download at iTunes but the album won’t be available until August.  ”Famous” comes from their self-titled album.  Fans will be happy to know that Big Time Rush that spawned the album has been picked up for a second season and the boys started production on it last month!

Check out the video.  I didn’t realy like it.  It’s just boring intercuts studio footage and the guys getting out at a park and people wanting their autograph.  Not too creative and looks like it was produced on a budget.  What do you think?  Do you like the video and are you excited to see the next season?

There’s a new outdoor toy on the market.  Squap is a toss and catch game, with a twist.  You fit the snap trap over your hand like a mitten or a puppet, and when you open your hand it flings the ball up and out.  It looks sort of like a fingertip trampoline.  To catch the ball you snap your fingers shut.  It’s big in Germany, a bestseller.  Look for Squap in stores on June 30.

The set comes with two snap traps and four balls, and you can play with friends or just bounce the ball against the wall to practice your moves when you’re alone.  What do you think?  Will you be trying Squap out or sticking to Nerf?

If you can recall yesterday that we posted the rumor about Miley Cyrus performing at the World Cup closing ceremony, then you are right. However, Ken Baker took to his own Twitter to share that she will not be performing there due to schedule issues. She will be filming in Detroit instead, as originally planned for her.

Miley Cyrus may be lucky and she should be grateful that this did not work out. Sport fans are not her demographic and she would likely be out of place. Filming a movie will likely be better for her in the mean time, since it will likely be a much better career move on her half. She can always do the FIFA cup later on in her career, while her chance in to film this movie will not be an option in a few years.

Demi Lovato and Camp Rock 2:The Final Jam costar Joe Jonas pose together for Teen Vogue. They will be on the August issue cover in promotion of the new Disney Channel original movie. The photos and video from the shoot is at the bottom of this post as they always are.

I think you can tell that they have a good chemistry, and they look great together. Teen Vogue could of not picked better cover models than Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato. They really add something to the magazine and it is great move to promote their movie. Plus the clothes they wore are fabulous! It was really classy and looks like it will be great issue to get for any Demi or Joe fan.

The ever busy Selena Gomez has been staying busy and will be moving on to her next project shortly. She told her Twitter followers that she is almost done working on Monte Carlo and only has two weeks left on the set. She did not say what she will do next, but she seemed a tiny bit happy.

She is hard at work and I hope she takes some time off for a week or two. She needs a break every now and then, plus with Ramona and Beezus coming out later next month she needs to take a small break. However, I suspect that Selena Gomez will not slow down anytime soon. Her career appears to be on a roll and she is a hard worker.

Dolly Parton’s Dollywood may be older than Miley Cyrus, but that does not stop her from joining the celebration. Recently it was announced that Miley would help Dolly Parton to celebrate 25 years of Dollywood, which is Dolly’s own theme park along with a few other country stars. This would include Miley’s own father Billy Ray Cyrus. The show will air on the Hallmark Channel, July 3rd.

I always got the feeling that Miley Cyrus was never a country music fan, I mean she even said that she would never sing her own dad’s songs. So I guess this surprises me to say at the least. But I will give her credit that she wants to help celebrate a country music stars career legacy. I just hope that Miley stays true to herself and not give into what people expect out of her.

Disney is launching a new clothing line – for expectant moms!  Lots of adults are big fans of Disney and the Mouse is cashing in by catering to the demand.  The new line was revealed at a private event in New York, but we haven’t gotten word yet when the clothing will hit stores.

The good news is that the clothes will be available soon at Motherhood Maternity clothing stores.  Motherhood is one of the old standbys for pregnant moms, easily accessible in malls but with clothing prices that don’t break the bank.  They usually have cute, comfy clothes.  What do you think?  Should we save Disney until after the baby is actually born or start marketing to them while still in the womb?
