Miley Cyrus Ranks Third In Top 100,000 Sales Charts

Just one more big success for Miley Cyrus to mark down in her career, her latest album Can’t Be Tamed is ranked third for this first week that it has been out on the market. It ranks in with two other current albums in the top 3 and will likely grow in number of sales as time goes on.

This is good news for Miley Cyrus and her management. It looks like her more mature sound is going over well to her fans and that she may be able to have a music career that is successful in the top 40 charts. I think that this might give her the boost to keep making music for a while. However, I doubt her acting career will suffer even if she does choose to keep making music for a while longer.

I hate to break it to you, but for an artist as big as Miley Cyrus, 102,000 copies isn’s that great. It’s actually not even impressive. Considering Eminem’s album sold an outstanding 740,000 copies. Apparently her transition isn’t going well at all. Thank god she’s taking a break from the music industry. This is just one proven case that sex doesn’t always sell records.

I dont know if I agree with that. Maybe in the older days, but now a days 100,000 is still a great number. Now we all know that the Eminem album is an anomaly in the numbers. I mean that is a number that is rarely seen thses days. It is only the third album since 2008 to debut over 700k

I know that Beyonce gives out free cd’s at shows (thus padding her numbers) does this music performer do that?
