Meaghan Jette Martin in Mean Girls 2
Rumor has it that Meaghan Jette Martin will be the star of Mean Girls 2. She wrote on her Facebook page that she will play Jo, the lead role but the cast hasn’t been officially announced. She should start filming soon in Atlanta, GA. Jo will be a lot like Cady Heron, the main character played by Lindsay Lohan in the original Mean Girls.
Meaghan played the roll of Tess Tyler in the Camp Rock movies. The latest sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam is set to release on Sept. 3 and also stars the Jonas brothers and Disney star Demi Lovato. She’s going to miss the tour, though, because of her new film schedule.
