Despicable Me latest movie poster

The new movie poster for Despicable Me is out, and features wicked Gru’s vast army of minions.  It also promises not just regular old 3D, but eye-popping 3D!

Despicable Me features the voices of Steve Carell and iCarly herself, Miranda Cosgrove.  Gru is an evil villain living in a regular neighborhood who plans to steal the moon.  At least until three little orphan girls decide to make him into their dad.  All of his shrink rays, gadgets, and weapons can’t defend him against that!

I just love the way each minion has its own personality and look.  Universal Studios has obviously paid attention to every detail and it looks like a fun movie!

Despicable Me hits theaters on July 9.
