I always love learning a bit more about Harper’s family on the Disney Channel Wizards of Waverly Place. In this episode Alex, Selena Gomez, joins Harper’s parents as they put on a vaudevillian act because she is fed up with her parents and thinks this would be more fun. She quickly comes to realize that the Harper’s parents, the Finkles, work real hard. She hatches a plan to get kicked out so she can go back to her family.

Based on the pictures this looks to be a pretty funny episode. I love the costumes that the Finkle family uses, plus it makes the clothes that Harper usually wears make more sense to me now. It seems that Justin gets into the act at some point as well because we see him in costume with Alex in the promo pictures below.

Just one more big success for Miley Cyrus to mark down in her career, her latest album Can’t Be Tamed is ranked third for this first week that it has been out on the market. It ranks in with two other current albums in the top 3 and will likely grow in number of sales as time goes on.

This is good news for Miley Cyrus and her management. It looks like her more mature sound is going over well to her fans and that she may be able to have a music career that is successful in the top 40 charts. I think that this might give her the boost to keep making music for a while. However, I doubt her acting career will suffer even if she does choose to keep making music for a while longer.

The latest song from Miley Cyrus has been released, but you won’t find it on her latest album.  It’s “Ordinary Girl”, from the soundtrack of the final season of Hannah Montana, Hannah Montana Forever.  In the show, Miley’s finally a senior but it sounds like she still has her wistful moments.

Demi Lovato has done her fair share of touring, so seeing recorded videos from her tour is a nice touch for those who are missing it. This one is the first episode of the mini-series that is covering her tour.

I am so happy that Demi Lovato is taking time out to share her life with fans via the videos. This will give her fans a taste of what her job and life is like. It really shows that she cares for her fans and wants to give something back to them. It is a great video and I enjoyed it very much. I really admired her for posing with fans and signing their CD’s that means a lot for them even if it isn’t an official meet and greet. That requires a lot of time and she has things that she needed to get done, but she took it out for fans sakes.

Selena Gomez released a video recently from when she was filming her upcoming movie Ramona And Beezus, which opens in July 23, 2010. This video according to Selena Gomez is this,

So you can see just how much girl power they had at the bottom of this post in the video.

I love the fact that Selena Gomez and Joey King are bringing back girl power(which started back in the 1990s, for those who don’t remember or where not alive at the time). Plus the video shows some great behind the scenes footage, so anyone who is a fan of their’s should watch it. You will enjoy it, that I am 100% sure of.

Miley Cyrus has been nominated for the Teen Choice Award.  She’s going to be too busy filming her next movie to attend, but it’s the thought that counts!  Miley’s nominated in the category of Choice Movie: Liplock  (for her kiss with Liam Hemsworth in Last Song) and also with Liam for Choice Movie: Chemistry.  She’s a nominee for Choice Movie: Hissy Fit for the same film.  Miley Cyrus is also nominated for Red Carpet Fashion Icon, for her fashion line for WalMart, for a couple of her songs, and also for having the most fanatical fans.

With so many nominations she’s bound to win something!  She took a few minutes to thank her fans for nominating her.  Check it out!  Look closely and you might see one of Miley’s pets in the video, too.

Mega Brands, Inc.  and Sanrio, Inc have signed a two year contract.  Sanrio owns the Hello Kitty brand, and Mega Brands make Mega Bloks, which are very similar to Duplos and Legos but are often themed with popular television shows and licensed characters.  The new toys will be available in North America.  Hello Kitty will join Dora the Explorer and Ni Hao Kai Lan sets to market to girls, an area where competitor Lego falls short.

It seems Hello Kitty is everywhere lately, on school supplies, clothing, shoes, keychains, and even card and board games.  The Sanrio store in the mall used to be the coolest place for a preteen girl to hang out.  I wonder if the brand is getting too diluted.  What do you think?  Is Hello Kitty awesome or lame?

Warner Brothers has finally signed some directors for their Lego movie, and they’ve picked pros who know what entertains kids.  Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller.  This won’t be a straight to DVD movie like the Bionicle or Clutch Powers movie. It’s set for the big screen.

I don’t know how they are going to make a movie based on building blocks, but I bet the imaginative duo can make it work!  Rumor has it that it will be in 3D and mix up live action and animation.  Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs was clever and entertaining for adults as well as kids, and lets hope Lord and Miller can keep up the good work.  I love kid movies that aren’t boring for the grown ups, too!

Good news for Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brothers, they are listed in the top 40 of Forbes Celebrity 100 and both are the youngest listed. Miley Cyrus is ranked as #13 due to her $48 million that she earned last year. Sadly, the Jonas Brothers only rank as #40, which is still not shabby, but when compared to Miley it looks a lot less. They earned a little more than $35 million last year, which puts them in likes of Tom Hanks and Howard Stern.

Both the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus did pretty well and they should be honored to be listed on Forbes top celebrity earners. All of them being so young and making it on the list is a feat for itself. But neverless they should be proud for the amount they did make and not worry about what the others did or didn’t. Each one is a winner in their own right and very successful by all standards.

According to THR, it’s being talked about! Twilight Eclipse is just hitting theaters, and the on-screen Alice Cullen could be circling LOL, which already has Miley and and Demi Moore on board. Lovely Ashley Greene isn’t the only one either, as the report indicates that Thomas Jane is also “in talks” to board the French comedy. Back in April we told you that Moore would be playing Miley’s mother, confirming our January post that both were attached. This would be a remake of the French film from way back in 2008 that originally starred Christa Theret and Sophie Marceau playing the roles of the daughter and mother. Greene is set to play a “high school bad girl”, and Jane will be Miley’s father.

THR goes on to add this short synopsis of the LOL:

The story centers on a teenage girl (Cyrus) who is dumped by her more sexually experienced boyfriend (Finn) while her divorcee mother (Moore) struggles to move on with her life.

Liza Azuelos, who directed the first film, is actually directing this one as well, so we figure she’s knows what she’s doing.
