True Jackson VP star Amanda Cantwell – I Will Cover You EP announced

Danielle Bisutti who plays the role of Amanada Cantwell on True Jackson VP has just announced the recording and release of an upcoming four track EP which will be called “I Will Cover You.”

Amanda is True’s nemesis, an ambitious fashion executive with an office right next door. She’s tough but easily flustered, cold but a little goofy, and is a major kiss-up when it comes to her boss, Max. For Amanda, fashion is everything, image is important and having to work with a 15-yr-old is infuriating.

Bisutti talks of the EP and how she is amped to share some of her musical work with fans and the music world.

The concept of doing a stripped down, live piano and vocal recording has been percolating inside of me since last summer, and finally giving it a voice through this creative expression has been a fulfilling experience.  Each of these songs guided me through a radical initiation in my relationship with self-love and the concept of falling in love.  The piece as a whole simply asks the questions who is holding your heart and how is it being taken care of?

Bisutti though is no novice to the music world as she has won the 2003 Los Angeles Music Award and her album Glimmer was nominated for AAA Album of the Year and her song In Passing received Unanimous Choice Recipient Award for Independent AC Single of the Year.  Should be interesting if her role on True Jackson VP helps push some album sales, it is also nice that she is giving partial proceeds to help out towards cancer research.  So will you purchase the EP when it comes out this summer?
