The original song and video of the Miley Cyrus song Can’t Be Tamed have been huge.  When you have a hot song what is the next logical step you ask?  Make an even hotter remix of the song.  Well Miley Cyrus and Lil’ Jon seem to be doing just that at the Rock Mafia recording studio in Santa Monica.  Hollywood.tv got a video of both Miley and Lil’ Jon talking about the remix, you can check it out below.  Just another way for Miley to grow up a little bit by collaborating with the star rapper.

“It’s crazy, it’s crazy,” Lil Jon told E! News about the collaboration upon exiting the studio with Miley and her producing partner, Antonina Armato. “I think everybody’s gonna really enjoy the song.”

“He just came in and let it out,” added Miley. “It’s pretty rockin’.”

We recently brought you the news that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were nominated for the 10th Annual BET Awards, which will be hosted by Queen Latifah.  This event will take place in LA on June 27th at 8PM on BET and BET.com but you can now vote for your favorites over at the BET site.  Justin Bieber has been nominated for Best New Artist and Selena Gomez is up for the Young Stars Award. 

I think Bieber’s main competition will be Nicki Minaj and Selena’s well honestly I do not see any competition in the crowd for her.  So far though Bieber and Gomez have the lions share of this unofficial vote.

I grabbed the video of Justin Bieber performing Baby and U Smile during the elimination round that was on Fox last night.  If you are one of the contestants on the show how hard must it have been to see such a superstar steal the show no matter how well they performed.  I love how Bieber also took it to the drums at the end of the performance to show everyone he can sing and play an instruments.  The dude just shined on the show last night, no doubt about it.  Check him out in the video below

Seacrest also told MTV News while at Wango Tango that Justin Bieber should replace Simon Cowell on American Idol as a judge.  Now that would be an awesome guest judge and revive the show for sure.

BotCon 2010 Registration goes live!

Fort Worth, TX – May 18, 2010 – Fun Publications, Inc., licensee for Hasbro’s official Transformers Collectors’ Convention, BotCon, announced today that the all-new and highly anticipated online registration system has been completed and has gone live. Pop Culture enthusiasts from around the world are now able to register for BotCon 2010, being held at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort June 24th –June 27th in Orlando, Florida. Fans and Collectors’ who register for BotCon as a Primus package holder will receive the 5 piece convention set “Generation 2: Redux,” admission to the Friday private sales room experience, all panels and seminars and the Hall of Fame Celebration dinner. The dinner will feature the first four “human” inductees into the Transformers Hall of Fame, including: Peter Cullen (voice of Optimus Prime), Bob Budiansky (Editor responsible for the original Transformers storyline), Yoke Hideaki (Takara/Hasbro liaison and the man behind toys such as Megatron and Soundwave), and Kojin Ohno (designer who created the first “car to robot transforming toy” Sunstreaker and the largest Generation 1 toy, Fortress Maximus). Finally, Primus package attendees will also receive a special bonus Transformers Deluxe figure to go along with their convention box set.

The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato take some time out of their schedule to talk about the Jonas Camp Rock Tour.  It must be tough having two top stars on a tour, but it looks like it will work out fine.  The Jonas Brothers have new material from Camp Rock and JONAS which should get the crowd rocking.

You can check out the music video with Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers with the rest of the cast of Camp Rock 2 called “It’s On.”  You can see the schedule for the United States portion and see if you can find a town near you.

Later this week after all of crazy schedule, Miley Cyrus will be heading to Kentucky where she will visit the town of Harzard to see how the progress of Blessings in a Backpack is going.  Eonline was told that Miley Cyrus will be devoting time and money to the charity over the next few years which is real nice.  You all know I am an advocate of stars helping out the needy to thumbs up for Miley.

Blessings in a Backpack is a results-oriented program.  This unique program is designed to feed elementary school children whose families qualify for the federal free and reduced meal program, and may not have any or enough food on the weekends.  Better test scores, improved reading skills, positive behavior, improved health and increased attendance have all been attributed to the success of this program.

I love Frozone and in The Incredibles #9 he is working with Mr. Incredible and Dash to investigate some mysterious break-in.  This is Part 2 of SECRETS AND LIES which should be continuing for the next year.  The issue is written by Landry Walker and drawn by Marcio Takara. Cover A & B are also done by Marcio Takara.

As Mr. Incredible, Frozone and Dash investigate the mysterious break-in at Doc Sunbright’s lab, Mrs. Incredible and Mirage find themselves embroiled in a deadly game of cat and mouse halfway around the world! But who’s the cat? Part 2 of SECRETS AND LIES, the story that sets the stage for the next year of THE INCREDIBLES!

Darn you Boom! Studios for putting the previews up so late.  They do bring some good stuff though, The Muppet Snow White sounds like a great series and we also get another David Peterson cover.  Issue number 1 is written by Jesse Blaze Snider with Patrick Storck and drawn by Shelli Paroline. Cover A is David Peterson and Cover B was done by James Silvani.

What is the comic about?

Aflac has teamed up with the Disney/Pixar team to release a commercial where they overlay the Aflac duck into a Toy Story 3 trailer.  I actually always liked the Aflac duck so to see him make an appearance here is funny from my angle.  I think it is also very smart marketing because you can cut costs by just overlaying him into a scene that was already made, plus you get the power of Disney and Pixar in your commercial.  He does seem to fit in perfectly, check it out below.

Now I wonder if the team put the duck somewhere in the movie as an Easter Egg?  Doubtful but you never know.  You can check out another Toy Story 3 trailer where we get reintroduced to Buzz and Woody.

We have a very special project here at BSCkids and BSCreview that will be starting in July.  The 2010 Vacation – The Summer of Reviews will be special posts where we review items we will be using on vacation or places we will be visiting during the vacation.  We will be able to do some extended reviews where we have multiple posts about the same item as we continue to use it.  Kind of like an extended test drive of the product instead of just doing a single review and forgetting about the item.  Sometimes you may not find out all the good or bad things about a product until you use it for a while and that is what we are shooting for.

Sounds like a good idea you say, but what the heck are you going to review.  Well what we are going to do is list what products have been sent to us for this special project so far and we will continue to update this post with new items as they come in.
