Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Bottle review

There have been a lot of changes to newborn products since my 4 year old was born.  The one that was my top concern for my newest addition was the elimination of BPA from products, especially bottles.  Since I did not plan on breast feeding I had to choose a bottle before the arrival of my new infant.  I had used Avent for my two older children, however when reading online reviews of the BPA free Avent bottles were less than stellar.  With three children and a full time job, easy cleaning was a high priority for me.  All the anti-colic features most bottles have include extra pieces attached to the ring or the nipple.  I knew that I did not have the time or patience to clean bottles that had more than a base, a ring, and a nipple. 

After searching the shelves for a three piece bottle I came across Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature bottles and hoped for the best.  I have now been using the Tommee Tippees for two weeks.  The first two days transitioning from the hospital provided bottles, my daughter was a little messy, but now is doing quite well with them.  At first, I was a little nervous about cleaning them, as the nipple seems more fragile than I was used to, but they have held up just fine.  Another feature I was unsure about was the unusual shape, but I have found the shape as well as the softer plastic very comfortable to hold during feedings.  I look forward to trying the full line line of Tommee Tippee feeding items, including sippy cups.  It is a bottle that I would recommend to anyone having a new baby and one that I am very comfortable using with my new baby girl.  Thank you Tommee Tippee for taking away some of the stress of baby feedings, now if they only had a bottle that would let our baby sleep through the night!
